Chenon? Who the heck is she?

Get this, a friend walked in the room the other day and said “dude, you should have your own podcast”. 29 hours later I have committed no less than 12 hours to research and advice. Who the heck am I? I’m that chic that gets shit done! Now, on to the not so ego-jerkish explanation of why you should seriously check me and this whole blog/podcast adventure out.

I have actively lived life. No kidding, in these crazy 40 years of breath I’ve moved around, been a nanny, wife, caregiver, camp director, resident genius, comedic relief, best friend, inmate, foster mom, friend, adoptive mom, grandma, aunt, niece, granddaughter, daughter, step-daughter, musician, reality tv buff, lover, enemy, and so many other forms of existence it seems only reasonable that I have a lot to say.

Now, please note, I have not given any credibility to my musings. I am quite often a jackass and speak before committing conscientious thought. But I will, in my own muddled defense, add that I read a lot. I also watch a variety of news shows and routinely listen and view reporters and presenters that both share and disagree with my opinions.

At the end of the day, I’m just a girl asking some people to take 29 minutes out of your day to listen, giggle, and shake your head in wonder. You may be thinking “why?”, let me explain. I’m funny, but life has shaped me. I have stories for days, but those embellishments came from choice and consequence. While I joke and poke fun, being authentic and supporting my community are two very real goals in my life. Why should you listen? Because there is a chance, albeit a small one, that you might actually find guidance, advice, or a moment in time when we may actually see eye-to-eye on a topic.
